Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said Sialkot incident is reprehensible and shameful

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman condemned the horrific incident happened in Sialkot on 3 December 2021.

He said this is reprehensible and shameful. But also he blamed the Govt that in past there was no proper investigations were made whenever this kind of incident happen. He ask Government for a comprehensive investigations.

He took twitter to express these statements. He said if Govt will not take blasphemy seriously than this type of incidents are going to happen and it will not stop. A person responded to his this statement with this comment “such incidents should be unconditionally condemned – Islam does not allow such fanaticism and illegal killings by mobs in any case – the nation expects the scholars to guide the nation in this matter.”


Sialkot Incident

On 3 december 2021 a mob of people lynched a Sri Lankan man to death on blasphemy allegations. This incident shocked the whole Pakistan. Prime Minister of Pakistan and the CM of Punjab took a strict action on it and within 24 hours 92 people arrested including the two main accused who were urging people to this. This Sri Lankan man was in Pakistan since 8 years and working as a manager in a factory.
